New bill could help overturn UIGEA

Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) reintroduced the Midnight Rule Act, which would mandate that all regulatory changes made by the White House within the last three months of an administration be approved by incoming Cabinet secretaries. “As expected, the Bush Administration has, in its final moments, proposed a series of retrograde and dangerous regulatory changes,” Nadler said

Mel Judah picks up Aussie win

Mel Judah, a former Aussie resident, picked up a win this week in Event 3 of the tournament series, an Omaha Hi-Lo event. According to the Aussie Millions Web site, the $1,100 Omaha Hi-Lo event is one of the smaller tournaments, but because it is one of the more specialized, it brings out many familiar pro faces.
