Benyamine joins $600k-pot club
By PokerlifeGuide • September 15th, 2008The insatiable lust for high-stakes No-Limit Hold’em that seems to have seized the poker community lately showed no signs of slowing over the weekend, with a steady lineup of big name pros stepping up to the felt at Full Tilt‘s marquee $500/$1,000 RailHeaven table. And while there was the expected deluge of $200k-$300k pots , the big story of the weekend came near the very beginning, as just 11 hours after high-stakes fish patatino made online poker history with a $610k pot Friday morning, David Benyamine came oh-so-close to one-upping him with a $600k pot of his own Friday night.
